BACK HOME

My trip to the US was great! I had a wonderful time. I met new friends, I learned a lot, I improved my language skills, I learned valuable lessons. But finally the day to get back home came.
It was a nice and sunny day when I came back. I met my friend in the morning and spent some time with them. I could hardly believe that I was leaving. But I decided to face the reality because the more I tryed to lie to myself, the worse I would feel.
My friends were with me all the time and this helped me a lot. When I said good bye I felt a crack in the heart. I can´t believe how our hearts are able to become attached to people in such a short period of time.
Professor Marotti took me to the airport and I left my friend behind. Soon I would leave Detroit behind. But my heart stayed there with my friends.
In the airport there was a big trouble trying to get my flight ticket. It seems that the company had made the reservation, but, for some reason, the ticket had not been printed.
Finally I was able to get my ticket and, after having all my luggage checked, get into the air plane. (not before I checked one of my bags - I had three and could only take two into the airplane. After all the trouble and after almost one hour waiting, I was able to fly to Dallas. When I arrived there, I realized that my baggage would not arrive in time, so I was going to miss my flight. I had to spent the night in a hotel in Dallas, which I enjoyed because I really needed some rest and a shower/ bath. I met some Brazilians in Dallas. The also had missed their connection flights.
Early in the morning the next day I went to the air poirt and, after having all my baggage checked again I flew to Miami. From Miami, I finally flew to São Paulo, where I arrived after 12 hours flying. In São Paulo, more problems with the baggage. It did not come in time again. It was another night spent in a hotel. This time I enjoyed even more, since I had a great dinner in a wonderful hotel, and another great shower and bath.
Finally, the great day came. I was able to pick all my bags the following day and to fly to Belo Horizonte where I arrived after a one hour flight.
My karate student picked me up at the Confins Airport and fetched me home.
My trip had got to its end, but I took almost three weeks to completely wake up.

COMING BACK

Hello Everyone, Yeah, I know there's a long time I don't post anything here. The reason for this is that life has been busy lately. I am working full time and trying to take my masters' degree in Music. Some time ago I have finished my Bachelor's degree in Popular Music and I am still working around with playing the flute. But now I have this great opportunity to attend to the Google Local Guides Connect 2019 and I am so excited at the very idea of being there and meeting Google Staff and other Local Guides from around the world. It will be a great experience and I can hardly wait to be there!
